Customer Review: A little disappointed

I purchased this because I have the professional fine and coarse graters and they are SHARP. Feeling that these sharp graters presented a danger I ordered this attachment. I really wanted this to work. The attachment leaves too much of a gap between the grater and the bottom of the attachment. Anything of a larger size works well with this attachment, but smaller things don't work at all. During the holidays I make a salad that calls for grated cranberries. I tried this attachment to grate the cranberries. What a mess! The cranberries maybe moved one or two times across the grater before going under the attachment. Adding more cranberries didn't work because the ungrated portions of the cranberries would pop out from between the grater and the attachment.
My recommendation would be to purchase this (after all the price isn't that much) to use with cheese, chocolate, larger fruits such as apples, etc. Do NOT purchase it with the intention of using it with garlic, berries, grapes, etc. and having it work well.
