Description of Microplane 38004 Professional Fine Spice Grater
The Microplane Professional Fine / Spice Grater is terrific for zesting and spice grating, and also makes a fast melting powder for pastas. All Microplane 38000 Professional Series graters are dishwasher-safe, featuring all stainless steel construction, cThis manual grater finely grinds cinnamon, nutmeg, garlic, or ginger with ease. Originally designed for shaving wood, the patented 18/8 stainless-steel Microplane blade has razor-sharp teeth that make grating effortless and that won?t clog. The large 5-by-2-1/2-inch grating surface can handle bigger ingredients, such as large lemons for zesting, and the matching 18/8 stainless-steel frame and satin-finish offer durable support for the blade. The grater has a non-slip rubber grip just above its head to keep it steady on a tabletop during grating. A plastic safety cover is also included to keep fingers safe and to keep the blade from dulling while in storage. This grater is dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning. --Cristina Vaamonde
