Customer Review: A must for using a mandoline

I've become a real fan of Microplane products since first purchasing their zester, so I knew they'd make a good cut-resistant glove. This was an essential accessory to my new OXO mandoline slicer Oxo Steel Chef's Mandoline Slicer, since it's so much easier and faster to slice and julienne, etc. if you can hold the food in your hand. Professional chefs can do that without the glove, but I sure wouldn't try it! The only issue I have with this glove is that it snags fairly easy when using a blade that has 'teeth' or using the julienne or french fry features. The glove is knit, so it can catch. I guess that shows that I would be catching (and cutting) my hand if not for the glove!
